All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- County of Orange Health Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings ((714)433-6000)Sheet A-1: Site plan: Please remove marking for the accessible path to the street. Site plan: For clarity, please show (show dashed line) accessible path of travel from the accessible parking to the building entrance. Site plan: On the plan, please label “accessible route” from the public sidewalk to the building entrance. Occupancy group: Please revise to specify occupancy group “M” for the market. Type of construction: For consistency with the permit record, please specify type “V-B” construction. Sheet A-2: Exit doorways: Please remove metal wire-fencing so that there will be no obstruction for the rear exit doorway. Exit shall lead directly and unobstructed to the public right of way. Rear exit doorways: Please note on plan, “Egress doors/gates shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. The force for pushing or pulling open a door shall be 5-lb maximum.”(1010.1.9)Toilet elevation: Please revise to show location of toilet dispenser located at a distance of 7”-9”, measured from the front of the water closet to the centerline of the dispenser. On the plan, please what material will be stored on the storage racks. High-hazard commodities, plastic, rubber, foam, etc. shall consider high-pile storage and shall require to submit to OCFA for review and approval. Sheet A-3: Booth: Please revise plan to provide 36” wide door. Provide structural and calculation for the booth wall construction. Show connection at top and bottom of steel posts. Specify metal steel tub/post and bar sizes and its connection. Provide detail for sheath metal welding information/specification. Please clarity the spacing of the redhead anchor bolts at 24” o.c? Provide details frames around the wall opening for bullet proof glass. Plan shall be stamped, signed and dated by a California registered civil engineer. Sheet A-4: On the plan, please specify maximum weight can be stored on the shelf. Plan show only one level of shelving. Please verify if information showed on plan is accurate. Otherwise, revise plan and calculation.
