Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used. The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work. Sheet T1. Revise sheet index to include all energy sheets and all structural sheets. Sheet A2. A sleeping room requires natural lighting (R303.1), natural ventilation (R303.1) and emergency egress and rescue opening (R310). Please revise design in bedroom #3 or specify the change of use not for a sleeping room. (R303.1) Sheet A2. Show dimension of the hallway width. The minimum width of hallways shall not be less than 36”. (CRC R311.6) Sheet A2. Please remove “±” from all dimensions shown on the proposed floor plan. Sheet A2. For each enclosed attic space with a maximum vertical height greater than 30 inches, provide a minimum of 22 x 30 inches attic access. (CRC R807.1) Sheet A3. Keynote #2. STRUCTURAL (2) copies of structural calculation is required. Provide two sets of complete truss calculations OR Identify on roof framing plan if shop drawings and truss calculations are considered as deferred submittals. Truss designs submitted must include all types and be designed for the loading conditions, span, slope, and spacing designated on the framing plan. Truss calculations must be signed, dated, and sealed using the most recently adopted code by an engineer who is registered in the state of California. For standards, a minimum submittal will include a truss layout plan showing proposed truss locations, type and loading requirements. Add note to plan: The deferred submittal items shall not be installed until the design and submittal documents have been approved by the Building Division. [CBC 107.3.4.2]. The Engineer or Architect of Record in responsible charge of the structural design shall provide a statement on the truss calculation stating that he or she has reviewed and approved for loads, location, and suitability for intended use. Provide approval stamp with signature from the engineer or architect of record on the truss calculation [CRC R802.10.2]. Sheet S10. In new laundry room, provide shear transfer detail at the roof diaphragm to vertical braced walls/elements on plan. Sheet S10. Cross-reference header design into framing plan. Provide specification for all new headers. Sheet S9. In bedroom #4, the architectural plan requires new raised-floor construction (see sheet A2). Revise concrete slab on grade design to raised-floor construction. Provide framing, shear transfer and connection details on plan. Sheet S9. Under the new slab in the laundry room, a 6-mil polyethylene vapor retarder with joints lapped not less than 6 inches shall be placed between the base course or subgrade and the concrete floor slab, or other approved equivalent methods or materials shall be used to retard vapor transmission through the floor slab.
