There are two (2) details 17 provided on the plan (sheet S-3.0). Please relabel/renumber the details.

Provide detail to show new 4x14 to post. Detail shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan.

Provide structural calculation for the 4x14 ceiling beam supporting the roof frames. Structural calculation and plans shall be stamped, signed and dated by a California registered civil/structural engineer.
2nd Review: Provide calculation 4x14, match plan (calculation was for 6x12 beam). Use roof live loads = 20 psf. Final plans and calculation shall be stamped, signed and dated by the engineer of record.
New pad footing is required to support the new ceiling beam. Provide calculation and revise foundation plan accordingly.
2nd Review: Please clarify statement in calculation that 18” sq.ft. x 12” deep footing with 2-#4 each way. Continuous footing may have only one way reinforcement.
Foundation schedule, CF-2: For clarity, please revise foundation schedule to specify 24” x 24” continuous footing (not PAD as indicated on the plan).
Provide detail to show new purlin to existing roof framing; new braces to purlin and to new ceiling – clearly show fastener schedule. Details shall be clearly cross-reference onto the plan.

2nd Review: Plan was not revised. Per framing plan, existing ceiling joists are running perpendicular to new ceiling beam. Provide detail to show new ceiling beam elevation in relative to the ceiling joists.
