Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceSubmit a signed copy of the contract showing labor and materials for all work to be done under the subject building permit application. The plan check engineer may accept the contract price as the valuation of improvements for unique/unusual projects in lieu of using a cost per square foot basis.Show centerline of labeled street and alley on the site plan.Show address of the adjacent unit on the site plan.Provide the following: - Disabled access compliance must be shown on the site plan.Note on the Floor Plan, type and quantity of material are stored on the storage racks.Submit a letter addressed to the Building Safety Division describing in detail the manufacturing process from material delivery, storage, handling, packaging, and shipping of finish product. Provide complying exiting plan for the area. ( For new fencing, see red mark)An exit access shall not pass through a room that can be locked to prevent egress.(For new fencing, see red mark)CBC Section 1022.2.2, Exterior exit doors shall lead directly to the exit discharge or the public way.Show all exit doors on the site plan.CBC Sections 1028.5 and 1022.1. Exiting from any occupied point in a building or structure on the subject site must be continuous, unobstructed, and undiminished to a public way. Provide exit door from new fenced area( see red mark) Note on drawing: “Exit doors shall be openable from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort.”CBC Section 11B-404.2.7, Hand-activated door opening hardware shall be centered between 34” and 44” above the floor. Latching and locking doors that are hand activated and which are in a path of travel shall be operable with a single effort by lever-type hardware, by panic bars, push-pull activating bars, or other hardware designed to provide passage without requiring the ability to grasp the opening hardware. Locked exit doors shall operate as above in egress direction.CBC Section 11B-404.2.9Note on the drawings: “Maximum effort to operate doors shall not exceed 5 pounds for exterior doors and interior doors, such pull or push effort being applied at right angles to hinged doors and at the center place of sliding or folding doors. Compensating devices or automatic door operators may be utilized to meet the above standardsCBC Section 404.2.10, Required the bottom 10” of all doors except automatic and sliding shall have a smooth uninterrupted surface to allow the door to be opened by a wheelchair footrest without creating a trap or hazardous condition.Exit illumination and exit sign requirements in accordance with CBC Section 1013 shall be shown on the drawings. Be specific as to the type of exit signs to be installed.Tactile exit signs shall be required at the following locations: - Each grade-level exterior exit door shall be identified by a tactile exit with the word “EXIT.” - Each exit access door from an interior room or area to a corridor or hallway, which is required to have a visual exit sign, shall be identified by a tactile exit sign with the words “EXIT ROUTE.” - Each exit door through a horizontal exit shall be identified by a sign with the words “TO EXIT.”Drawings submitted to the Building Division for review shall provide the following information to insure compliance with CBC Section 11B-202.4: - An accessible entrance - An accessible route to the altered area to include slope, dimension ,… - Accessible restrooms - Parking, signage and alarmsIf a walk crosses or adjoins a vehicular way, and the walking surfaces are not separated by curbs, railings or other elements between the pedestrian areas and vehicular areas, the boundary between the areas shall be defined by a continuous detectable warning which is 36” wide, complying with the CBC Section 11B-247.1.2.5.CBC Section 11B-403.5.1. Every portion of every building in which are installed seats, tables, merchandise, equipment, or similar materials shall be provided with aisles leading to an exit. Every aisle shall not be less than 36” wide if serving only one side, and not less than 44” wide if serving both sides.Provide structural calculations and drawings, stamped and signed by a California licensed architect or registered civil engineer for fencing.Details on sheet A1.02 for fencing are not legible.Provide storage rack dimensions on the floor plan, doesn’t match storage rack detail on sheet A1.02.CBC Section 1705A.12.7 Storage racks and access floors. Periodic special inspection is required during the anchorage of access floors and storage racks 8’ or greater in height in structures assigned to Seismic Design Category D.“ Note on the drawings”Note on the drawings locations and inscriptions of 50 square inch minimum size permanent plaques installed in conspicuous locations, showing the maximum permissible unit load in clear, legible print.The bottom of all posts shall be furnished with bearing plates. Drive-in, drive-through, and stacker racks shall be anchored to the floor by anchor bolts capable of resisting the horizontal shear forces caused by the horizontal and vertical loads on the rack. (provide size of bearing plate)Provide size of the beams and posts for the storage racks.Provide elevation for fences with all construction details.
