All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction where plan check response can be found.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).Submit (2) copies of soils report with geotechnical recommendations of the retaining wall design.Cover sheet. Clearly indicate the “Scope-of-Work” on the cover sheet for this permit (101124338) and provide the breakdown of the wall types, wall heights & wall lengths of all the different wall types & fences.Cover sheet.Note on plan: Type of construction: Type V-B.Cover sheet.Note on plan: Occupancy Group: Group U.Cover sheet. Applicable Codes: Add a note that the applicable Codes are: 2022 CBCand City of Santa Ana Municipal Code.Sheet 2. Cross-reference sections A-A through C-C into applicable location on the site plan.Sheet SL1.0. Add a note that the applicable code version is 2022 California Building Code.Remove sheet SL4.0 which is not part of the scope.Sheet SL5.0. Show required minimum finish grade between existing neighbor wall and proposed retaining wall required over the proposed retaining wall footing to provide lateral support from the soils. Clarify in details 2, 3 and 4/SL5.0.Provide complete project address on the cover page of the structural calculation.Delete pages in the structural calculation that are not part of this review (e.g. trellis design). Resubmit (2) copies of new calculation only apply to this scope of work.Provide continuous page number on each page of calculation. Page number should not be duplicated.Soils report with geotechnical recommendations of the retaining wall design must be submitted to verify the structural design.END OF COMMENTS
