Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840). -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work. PLAN CHECK COMMENTS STRUCTURAL Revise the project address to “2506 W Manly Avenue Unit #2, Santa Ana CA 92704”. Please ensure the correct address is updated throughout the construction document. For example, address on the title block of every sheet, and title page on structural calculations. Provide complete structural calculations to verify the adequacy of the structural system in resisting seismic, wind and gravity loads. (1604) Building Division 2nd review response: Please print the engineer’s stamp and signature darker and legible. Cross-reference beam design from structural calculation into floor framing plan. Identify each beam number on both structural calculation and the plans. Make cross-reference in Enercalc and Forteweb design into the plan. In Enercalc, please provide the structural member specifications and show the demand capacity ratio while checking each member. The calculation only shows the member forces and reactions. However, it is unclear what is the design member in the calculation. In addition,beam span in structural calculation appears not matching the framing plan. E.g. hip spans 18.25’, ceiling beam spans 25.83 feet…Please clarify. Structural calculation requires 7”x18” PSL. However, it is not available on the framing plan. Please clarify. Detail 8/SD1. Please specify footing width and embedment depth of the new continuous footing on plan. ** There is no additional structural comment redlines on the drawing from this review. Thank you.
