Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Plan was incomplete. Provide the following information are required for plan review and approval.Plan shall be legible. 2nd Review Comment: Construction documents shall be in accordance with Section 107.2.1 through 107.2.8. Incomplete submittal and lack of information will delay the plan review process and permit issuance. Provide the cover sheet with the following information: (107 CBC)Occupancy groups 2nd Review: Occupancy Group “ONE” is not a valid occupancy group. Please revise plan with a correction occupancy groups per Chapter 3 of the CBC. Floor area per occupancy group2nd Review Comment: On the please specify the floor area in square feet (SF) for each occupancy group. Construction shall comply with the CBC, CPC, CMC, CEC, California Green Building Code, and California Energy Efficiency Standards Code.2nd Review Comment: Please revise plan to specify the applicable code edition (2022). Reminder:Construction documents shall be of sufficient clarity to indicate the location, nature and extent of the work proposed and show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of this code and relevant laws, ordinances, rules and regulation. Please rotate all texts on plan so it can be read when flip page on the long side. On the plan, provide scope of work. 2nd Review Comment: Please provide the scope of work on the 1st sheet (cover sheet) of the plan set. Provide floor plan with door schedule (interior & exterior doors) and operable hardware. 2nd Review Comment: On the plan, please clearly show all doors (existing and new). 32” clear opening is required.Provide the following note on plan: Door hardware: Egress doors/gates shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. (1010.1.9)Openable parts of such hardware shall be 34 inches minimum and 44 inches maximum above the finish floor or ground. The force for pushing or pulling open a door shall be 5-lb maximum. Operable parts shall be operable with one hand and shall not require tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist. The building must be accessible to the person with disability. Reference should be made to the California Building Code and Federal Accessibility Laws for complete requirements. It is the project designer’s/property owner’s responsibility to show compliance with all applicable Federal and State Accessibility laws and regulations. Show all site related items on drawings prior to approval of site plan and show full compliance on drawings when submitted into Building Safety Division for reviewing. Accessibility requirements shall comply with the applicable provision in Chapter 11B, CBC. Show accessible route from the public sidewalk to the building accessible entrance. Show accessible entrance and provide detail.Show accessible parking stall(s) and locate on an accessible route to the building entrance. Show accessible restroom facilities. Provide all required accessible details on the plan. 2nd Review Comment: No response provided nor information were provided. Please comply with all the requirement above for accessibly requirement. Provide egress plan showing means of egress comply with Chapter 10, CBC. 2nd Review Comment: Please comply. Please note on plan: Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing are not part of this plan review.
