All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance
The submittal is incomplete. Plan review will start when complete plans with engineering stamp, signed and complete structural calculations.Additional plan check is fee will be required. Provide a complete site plan.Provide floor plan to show where the proposed stairways will be installed. Show complete dimensions. Provide plan to show where the proposed stage will be placed.Provide/show restrooms and accessible restrooms. Accessible restrooms shall be located on an accessible route. Provide egress plans. Please provide an operational plan for accessible means of access on and off the field for the persons with disabilities.
Please provide accessible ramp or lift to the stage. Or, provide a signed letter the with the following statement for accessible to stage.
Stage is for performers only and not for public. If any accessible access is required or requested, contractor shall provide accessible ADA compliant ramp or lift.

Stage plans: The plans shall be stamped and signed by a California registered civil / structural engineer.
Stairways: The proposed stairways are part of means of egress for the occupants of the proposed event. The following comments are required.
The structural review letter by itself is insufficient.
Provide complete structural analysis for the stairways, including vertical and lateral loads.
Provide complete structural plan and details for the stairways, including framing members, connections, attachments, etc.
The stairways are proposed on a sloped site. It shall be supported on a foundation and imbedded into the stable soil. Provide calculation.
The placement of structures on or adjacent to slopes steeper than one unit vertical in three units horizontal (33.3-percent slope) shall comply with Sections 1808.7.1 through 1808.7.5.
A soil report is required.
Final plans and calculations shall be stamped, signed an dated by a California registered civil/structural engineer.
Additional review comments may be required at time of next submittal when plans are complete and structural designs are provided.
