All drawings and supporting documents shall be prepared, stamped, and signed by a California licensed architect or registered professional engineer. (CRC R301.1.3, CBC 107.1 and 107.3.4.1).All persons preparing plans for others shall sign those plans. Business and Professions Code Chapter 3, Division 3, Section 5536.1 (a). The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. This set of plans contains multiple building permits. List all project addresseson the title block on each sheet. Please ensure the correct address is updated and shown throughout the construction document. For example, address on the title block of every sheet, title page on structural calculations, and line 3 on page 1 of the CF1R document. Replacing with new sliding door requires building permit. See sheet A2.2 Keynote #C, the followings are required: Sheet T1. Revise scope of work description to include replacing and installing new sliding door in the scope of work. At the resubmittal, see the permit technician to apply the building permit. DO NOT USE DROP BOX FOR RESUBMITTING. Provide dimensions, U-factor and SHGC value of the new sliding doors on plan. Sheet T-1. Clarify property address in the property info area. Sheet T-1. Specify correct property type. This is not a single family dwelling. Sheet T-1. Specify if the existing apartment building equipped with fire-sprinklered system. Sheet T-1. This plan check is submitted after January 1, 2026. Update structural calculation to design in accordance with 2025 CBC. Update applicable Codes from 2022 to 2025 version. Continuous load path. On the new guard wall, provide wall sheathing and fasteners to be capable to transfer in-plane and out-of-plane lateral force to supporting structure below in addition to decorative 1”x8” cedar finish. Sheet S1.1. Detail 1. Clarify how to vertically and laterally support the 2x4 studs and 2x sill plates where 1” gap occurs. Revise details to clarify how bottom of 2x4 studs and 2x sill plates attached and supported. Show connection details on plan. Sheet S1.1. Continuous load path. Detail 5. Provide wall sheathing and fasteners between deck sheathing and new garage header to transfer the lateral force from edge of deck to the garage header. Sheet S1.2. Specify hardware to provide positive connection at the new garage header to the post below. A solid 4x4 post may be required for column cap installation and support 4.7 kips load. Sheet S1.2.
