All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceSheet A.01: On the plan, please specify the applicable Codes (2025 CBC, CEC, CPC, CMC, CFC)Sheet A.01: Plan shall be legible. Sheet A.01: There is a real property line between lot APN: 400-164-10 and 400-151-07. Please revise plan to clearly show property line and distance setback between the proposed canopy structure and the property line. Sheet A.01: The proposed canopy structural shall comply with the require fire separation distance per Table 705.5, CBC. Provide a minimum 10-ft fire separation distance between the proposed structure and the adjacent property line. Otherwise, provide a 10-ft dedicated no-build easement on the adjacent lot. Easement shall be recorded prior to plan check approval. Provide a minimum 20-ft minimum separation between the existing building on the same lot to the proposed structure. Otherwise, provide a building area analysis showing the aggregate of the existing building and proposed structure is within the allowable building area per Chapter 5, CBC. Fabric: Please specify - All fabrics materials shall be flame resistant in accordance with the provisions set forth in CCR, Title 19, Division 1, Chapter 8. Post anchor details on sheet D.01: Per structural calculation 25” minimum embedment is required for the anchors. Could not locate foundation calculation for the HSS post support. Provide calculation for the concrete footing supporting the HSS post. Check for overturning forces due to lateral loads. (End of Comment)
