This review does not include mechanical, plumbing or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.
The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
The architect of record (AO) please provide a formal cover sheet for this deferred submittal.
Show the complete and detailed description of Scope-of-Work on the plans per the permit application. Plan review is subject to the Scope-of-Work on the permit application and any work not part of the Scope-of-Work (Project Description) shall be deleted or marked as “Existing”.
Provide an Index of Drawings on cover sheet.
Sheet number shall be unique and not be duplicated.
All drawings and supporting documents shall be prepared, stamped, and signed by a California licensed architect or registered professional engineer. (CRC R301.1.3, CBC 107.1 and 107.3.4.1).
Provide a sheet number on each drawing sheet. Sheet numbers shall be unique and shall not be duplicated within the plan set.
Update job address on all sheets and structural calculation: “511 N Grand Avenue, Santa Ana, CA. 92701”
On egress plan, show the required width of the exit route on the plans and demonstrate that the required egress width is maintained clear and unobstructed along the entire path of travel.
Provide the design and details of the egress stairway and bridge crossing over the conveyor system. Clearly cross-reference the egress plan to the applicable enlarged plans, sections, and construction details. Demonstrate compliance with all applicable Building Code requirements, including means of egress, accessibility, and structural design provisions.
On Logistiq sheets, provide enlarged and dimensioned elevations and equipment details.
On Logistiq sheets, provide structural anchorage design for the equipment. Plans and calculation shall be stamped, signed and dated by a licensed professional.
