Other support services, such as job and training <br />assistance, food assistance, arid."scounseling are also available to help individuals recover from <br />homelessness and to avoid becoming homeless. The City works closely with the Continuum of Care who <br />provides oversight for the Vulnerability Index - Service Prioritization Decision Assistance Tool (VI-SPDAT) <br />to prioritize the most vulnerable chronically homeless individuals. Case management services are <br />offered in all programs to help prevent individuals from falling back into homelessness. <br />In addition, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana has recently been awarded VASH project - <br />based vouchers for permanent supportive housing for Veterans experiencing homelessness. These 100 <br />vouchers are in addition to the current Vouchers with two projects already in the pipeline.
