(1) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br />FOR <br />SOLID WASTE CONSULTING SERVICES <br />RFP NO.: 15-006 <br />I. GENERAL <br />Nature of Work: <br />The City of Santa Ana is seeking a solid waste consulting services provider. A detailed Scope of <br />Work is included in the Appendix of this RFP as Attachment 1. <br />Number of Proposals and Signature: <br />Four hard copies and one (1) digital file on labeled USB Flash Drive (or equivalent) of your proposal <br />shall be signed by a company official with the power to bind the company and submitted to the City <br />of Santa Ana. One (1) copy of your Fee Proposal shall be submitted. <br />Proposal Evaluation and Rating: <br />The criteria for evaluating the proposals submitted will take the following items into consideration: <br />• Firm/Team Experience <br />25% <br />• Understanding of Need <br />20% <br />• Relevant Project Experience <br />20% <br />• Schedule <br />15% <br />• References <br />10% <br />• Fee <br />10% <br />The City has established a proposal review committee to evaluate proposers based on the response to <br />the RFP, which includes adherence to outlined directions and format, and the City evaluation criteria <br />set forth above. A final score will be calculated for each submitted proposal and used to rank the <br />proposers. <br />II. PROPOSAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />By submitting a Proposal, the Proposer acknowledges that it has thoroughly examined and accepts <br />the Terms and Conditions of this RFP as described below: <br />A. EXAMINATION: Proposer represent that it has thoroughly examined and become familiar with <br />the services and responsibilities required this RFP and that it is capable of effectively and <br />efficiently performing quality work to achieve the City's objectives. Any attachments referenced <br />herein or any interpretations, clarifications or amendments subsequently posted in the relation to <br />this RFP are fully incorporated. <br />B. EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT: The City and the selected Proposer will enter into an <br />Agreement similar to that as shown in Attachment 2, in the Appendix of this RFP.
