RESOLUTION NO. 2018 -XX <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE ADDENDUM <br />TO ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NO. 1988- <br />01 (ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW NO. 2016-75) AND <br />GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 2015-01 FOR <br />THE BRISTOL STREET CORRIDOR SPECIFIC PLAN <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br />A. The City of Santa Ana (Applicant) is requesting approval of General Plan <br />Amendment No. 2015-01 to amend the General Plan land use designation <br />of various properties located along the Bristol Street Corridor Specific Plan <br />boundaries to reflect the changes in zoning designations along the same <br />corridor to facilitate development on various parcels of land. <br />B. On April 9, 2018, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana held a <br />duly noticed public hearing and voted to recommend that the City Council <br />adopt a resolution adopting the addendum to Environmental Impact Report <br />No. 1988-01 (Environmental Review No. 2016-75) and approving General <br />Plan Amendment No. 2015-01, a copy which is available at the Planning <br />Division Public Counter and Main Public Library, or viewed on the City's <br />Bristol Street Specific Corridor webpage. <br />C. On May 15, 2018, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana held a duly <br />noticed public hearing to consider all testimony, written and oral, related to <br />General Plan Amendment No. 2015-01, at which time all persons wishing <br />to testify were heard, the project was fully considered, and all other legal <br />prerequisites to the adoption of this Resolution occurred. <br />D. General Plan Amendment No. 2015-01 has been filed to amend the General <br />Plan to change the land use designation of various properties along the <br />Bristol Street Corridor Specific Plan boundaries as shown on Exhibit A to <br />Low -Density Residential (LR), General Commercial (GC) and Open Space <br />(OS) designations. <br />E. The City Council has reviewed the General Plan's policies and has <br />determined that General Plan Amendment No. 2015-01 is consistent with <br />the purpose of the general plan. <br />EXHIBIT 1 <br />75D-12 <br />
