<br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />To: Historic Resource Commission Date: May 24, 2018 <br /> <br />From: <br />Pedro Gomez, Assistant Planner I <br />Verny Carvajal, Principal Planner <br /> <br /> <br />Subject: <br /> <br />HISTORIC DESIGNATION MARKERS <br /> <br /> <br />On March 22, 2018, planning staff provided the Historic Resource Commission (HRC) with a <br />copy of the Historic Designation Marker Guidelines handout. This handout was intended to <br />follow the original design and guidelines of the 2003 marker program, and assist owners <br />wishing to install a historic marker on their property. <br />On the April 26, 2018, HRC meeting, Commissioner Hardy identified an inconsistency in the <br />handout. Specifically, the original designation markers included an area for the historic <br />categorizations of a property (i.e., Landmark, Key or Contributive).
