HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION NO. 2017-38, HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 2017-37 AND HISTORIC PROPERTY <br />PRESERVATION AGREEMENT NO. 2017-42 TO ALLOW THE PLACEMENT AND <br />CATEGORIZATION IN THE SANTA ANA REGISTER OF HISTORICAL PROPERTIES <br />AS KEY FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2457 NORTH NORTH PARK <br />BOULEVARD AND TO EXECUTE A MILLS ACT AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA – GEORGE M. WILL, APPLICANT <br /> <br />Legal notice published in the Orange County Reporter on March 12, 2018 and notices <br />mailed March 12, 2018. <br /> <br />Case Planner Gomez provided a presentation which included the history of the property, <br />project description and overview of the architectural style. Noted the address should be <br />reflected as 2457 North Park Boulevard. Commission discussion ensued regarding the <br />windows on the front facade. The applicant spoke in support of the matter. Chairperson <br />Christy opened the Public Hearing. There were no speakers and the hearing was closed. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br />2017-38 and Historic Register Categorization No. 2017-37 with the recommendation <br />that the applicant restore the window on the front façade to its original condition if <br />deemed not original to the property. <br /> <br />2. Recommend that the City Council authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the <br />Council to execute Historic Property Preservation Agreement No. 2017-42 with <br />George M. and Kelli L.
