Proposals to Modify Existing Fees FY 2019-19 <br />(Pending Review by City Attorney's Office) <br />PUBLIC WORKS AGENCY <br />1. Temporary Construction Meter Deposit <br />Existing Fee: $1,193.10 <br />Proposed Fee: $1,946.00 <br />This fee is based on the cost of the equipment. <br />PLANNING AND BUILDING AGENCY <br />2. Historic Property Preservation Agreement (Mill's Act Application) <br />Existing Fee: $4,257.40 <br />Proposed Fee: $4,422.59 <br />In FY 17-18, Mill's Act 50% reduction expired, so full amount will now be charged, plus CPI. <br />3. Existing Name: Residential Rooftop Solar (1kW to 15kW) <br />Proposed Name: Residential Photovoltaic System (1kW to 15kW) <br />Existing Fee: $500.00 <br />Proposed Fee: $450.00 <br />Plus each additional kW over 15kW <br />Existing Fee: $15.50 <br />Proposed Fee: $15.00 <br />Per Assembly Bill No. 1414 approved by the Governor on October 15, 2017, existing solar fees <br />adopted with previous 2015 Assembly Bill No. 2188 are to be amended. Solar fees were <br />implemented in 2015 as a mandate with Assembly Bill No. 2188 and are amended by October 15, <br />2017 Assembly Bill No. 1414. Existing fees shall be amended to the specific requirement of the <br />legislation. <br />4.
