3.0 Pavement Network <br />The local network is comprised of two functional classifications as described below: <br />• Non -Residential Street — Generally a low -speed two-lane, undivided roadway with <br />parking allowed on both sides of the street. Businesses are located on both sides of the <br />street. A non-residential street is designed to accommodate less than 6,000 vehicle trips <br />daily. This facility type comprises approximately 32 centerline miles or 10 percent of City <br />local network. <br />• Residential Street — Generally a low -speed and low-volume two-lane, undivided <br />roadway providing access to individual properties in a neighborhood. A residential street <br />is designed to accommodate less than 6,000 vehicle trips daily.
