v!NCE <br />Franc Escobedo <br />Engineering Field Technician <br />Mr. Franc Escobedo has over 15 years of experience as a pavement <br />management technician for NCE. He has performed numerous pavement <br />condition Inspections throughout California, Idaho, and Washington. He <br />experience includes distress collection across various Pavement <br />Management Systems including the Metropolitan Transportation <br />Commission StreetSaver, Micro PAVER, Cartegraph, and Hansen systems. <br />Additionally, Mr. Escobedo has completed both the OCTA Micro PAVER and <br />MTC "Distress Identification" courses for both Asphalt Concrete and <br />Portland Cement Pavements and now assists with the training of agency <br />staff on both courses. <br />Mr. Escobedo performs all activities relating to pavement data collection <br />using hardcopy forms or tablets. As part of the quality control process, he <br />performs cross-checks of data in the PMS database. He also regularly <br />performs quality control checks of field collected data and pavement <br />maintenance history to ensure that PMS databases are accurate and up-to- <br />date. During this process, he also generates detailed reports, which are <br />necessary to perform his cross-checks of the collected data. <br />His field experience and expertise is an added benefit to agencies during <br />field training.
