RESOLUTION 2018.XXX <br />3.88% <br />PROPOSED <br />REVENUE FY 17-18 FY 18-19 <br />ACCOUNT DEPARTMENT/MISCELLANEOUS FEE OR SERVICE UNIT FEES FEES <br />SECTION IX PLANNING & BUILDING AGENCY <br />164) Refunds 44.54 46.27 <br />Upon written request from the permittee, refunds of permit <br />fees may be made to the permittee in an amount equal to 80% <br />of the permit fee, exclusive of the plan check and issuance <br />fee; except that no permit fees shall be refunded under any <br />of the following circumstances: <br />(1) 180 days has elapsed from the date of the issuance <br />of the permit <br />(2) inspections have been performed by the Building Safety <br />Division <br />If a permit has been Issued for a project located in an area <br />outside of the jurisdiction of the City, 100% of the permit <br />and plan check fee may be refunded. If a permit has been <br />erroneously issued, 100% of the permit and plan check fee <br />may be refunded. <br />If a plan check fee has been paid and the plan is withdrawn <br />by th e applicant prior to the plan check, refunds of plan <br />check fees may be made to the permittee In an a mount equa I <br />to 10091 of the plan check fee in excess of $46.27 paid. <br />I n no other case may a my plan check fees be refu nded. <br />Waiver of Fee <br />No permit or plan check fees required by this resolution wil I <br />be charged for public improvement projects performed by <br />construction contractors and subcontractors pursuant to contract <br />with the City of Santa Ana or the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency of the City of Santa Ana nor for any work performed by <br />employees of the City in the course of their employment. <br />However, this fee waiver does not exempt any party from <br />obtaining a permit for such work nor exempt such party from <br />conforming to the procedures established by the City nor from <br />compliance with all applicable City and State ordinances <br />regulating such work. <br />Note: The volume for Plan Check activity has been reduced to reflect thefact that <br />contract services and overtime are used to complete a portion of activity. <br />')Not oil re -roofing activities require plan check. Material and current structure design <br />willbe the decidingfoctor. <br />This service will be charged an initial deposit and then charged by hourly tote. <br />These services were reallocated acrossfee areas as on overhead. <br />Up to 10 rocks. Each additional rack will be charged at $11.91 each. 11.46 11.91 <br />*'Hourly rates will be charged ofter the minimum is met, If required. <br />o This revenue is earmarkedfor the General Plan Update and is not included in new revenue figures. <br />Allplan check services reflect an initialpfus two rechecks. Additional reviews will be charged on on <br />hourly basis.
