<br />LIBRARY FOR PROGRAM YEAR 2018-2019 {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 2, 4}– <br />Community Development Agency <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of Council to <br />execute contracts and memorandum of understanding for a total amount of $484,445 <br />with the following Youth Service Providers for a one-year term beginning July 1, <br />2018 through June 30, 2019 subject to final funding notification for Grant Year 2018 <br />from the United States Department of Labor and the California Employment <br />Development Department and allow non-substantive changes approved by the City <br />Manager and City Attorney: <br /> <br />Orange County Children’s Therapeutic Arts Center - $184,000 - To provide <br />1. <br />occupational skills training in the areas of office administration, mental health <br />paraprofessional, and childcare worker certification, job preparation, paid work <br />experience, tutoring, mentoring, counseling, and supportive services, for 22 <br />youth (Agmt. No. 2018-XXX); <br /> <br />Orange County Conservation Corps - $180,000 - To provide alternative secondary <br />2. <br />education that leads to a high school diploma, credential training in forklift <br />operator, safe food handling, customer service, computer software, job <br />preparation, paid work experience, post-secondary education resources, and <br />support services for 22 youth (Agmt. No. 2018-XXX); <br /> <br />Santa Ana Public Library - $120,445 - To provide post-secondary occupational <br />3. <br />skills training in the areas of digital technology, computer maintenance and <br />repair, paid work experience, leadership development, tutoring, and mentoring <br />for 15 youth (Agmt. No. 2018-XXX). <br /> <br /> <br />25I. APPROVE AN AGREEMENT WITH COMMUNITY SENIORSERV INC. FOR <br />SENIOR MEALS PROGRAMS {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 5, 6E} – Parks, Recreation <br />and Community Services Agency <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the <br />Council to execute an agreement with Community SeniorServ, Inc. for Senior Meals <br />Programs in the amount of $90,290 for the period from the effective date of the <br />agreement through June 30, 2019, subject to non-substantive changes approved by <br />the City Manager and City Attorney (Agmt. No. 2018-XXX). <br /> <br /> <br />25J. APPROVE AN AGREEMENT WITH MARIPOSA LANDSCAPE, INC. FOR <br />LANDSCAPE SERVICES AT PACIFIC ELECTRIC PARK AND ROOSEVELT- <br />WALKER COMMUNITY CENTER {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 6, 1B} – Parks, <br />Recreation and Community Services Agency <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the <br />Council to execute an agreement with Mariposa Landscape, Inc. to provide <br />landscape maintenance services at Pacific Electric Park and Roosevelt-Walker <br />Community Center for an amount not to exceed $17,667.03, which includes a ten <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 10 JUNE 19, 2018 <br /> <br /> <br />
