Tuesday, June 05, 2018
Santa Ana Mayor & City Council
20 Civic Center Plaza
P.O. Box 1988, M31
Santa Ana, CA 92701
Dear Mayor and Council Members:
As the parent of a child who attends the Citrus Springs Charter School in Santa Ana, l am writing you
today to urge you to support our school's Conditional Use Permit (CUP) request to allow middle and high
school students to attend mentoring and tutoring programs on our campus. The center has always served
as a positive and healthy learning environment for my children and i very much want them to be able to
continue their studies there as they get older and progress through school.
Having a strong base is important for student growth and achievement. I am comforted in knowing that
my children are enrolled in a school where their teachers and peers are focused and committed to their
futures. If we truly want our future generation to learn and flourish, we need to provide them with
California credentialed teachers and mentors who design quality education programs that are unique to
every student's individual needs.
Please support my child, their school and approve the Citrus Springs Student Center's application for an
expanded CUP. Thank you for your time and attention to this issue.
Sincerely,
