City has agreed are those for which it shall provide <br />higher compensation. <br />g. Any employee request for classification review approved by the <br />Department Head shall be forwarded to the Executive Director of <br />Personnel Services. The Executive Director of Personnel Services shall <br />confirm receipt of the request in writing to the employee. Within sixty <br />(60) days of receipt of the request, the Executive Director of Personnel <br />Services shall notify the employee and Department Head of the <br />decision as to whether a study will be conducted. If the Executive <br />Director of Personnel Services determines that a study is appropriate, <br />the Executive Director of Personnel Services shall so notify the <br />employee and the Department Head in writing and shall provide the <br />employee and Department Head with an approximate start date for <br />the study. <br />C. All determinations of the Department Head and the Executive Director <br />of Personnel Services are final. <br />D. All studies and study findings shall require City Manager approval <br />before proceeding. <br />E. All recommendations resulting from study findings require the approval <br />of the City Council and shall be implemented in accordance to the <br />City's Civil Service rules. <br />5.14 Wherever reference is made to a required number of days, months, or years <br />for Full Time Civil Service employees in this Article, an equivalent number of <br />hours shall be substitufed to satisfy an equivalent to 75% requirement for <br />designated PTCS employees. Any hourly rate of pay, defined as the regular <br />hourly rate of pay, shall be computed by dividing the monthly salary rate <br />plus any applicable premiums by 173.33.
