12,8 Medical Retirement Subsidy Plan. <br />A. Effective June 30, 2015, CASA dissolved the City's Medical Retirement <br />Subsidy Plan for employees covered under this MOU. Prior to that <br />date, all existing CASA Medical Retirement Subsidy Plan funds were <br />distributed among CASA membership and, if applicable, its retired <br />members, CASA agrees to defend the City against, and indemnify the <br />City for, any liability and damages incurred by the City as a result of <br />the dissolution of the CASA Medical Retirement Subsidy Plan. <br />B. Effective October 1, 2014, employees covered under this MOU began <br />participating in the "Vantage Care" Retirement Health Savings Plan <br />(RHS), as earlier implemented by the City, which designated ICMA-RC <br />as the administrator of the plan. At that time, employees covered <br />under this MOU received a one-time increase of 1.25% in their base <br />pay, which amount was deposited Into their individual RHS accounts <br />each pay period going forward. <br />C. Employees covered underthis MOU shall continue to contribute 1.257o <br />of their base pay each pay period to the RHS plan, which amount shall <br />be deposited into the employee's individual RHS account. <br />12.9 PTCS employees that are covered under this article will receive the same <br />benefits as the Full -Time employees covered under this MOU.
