Award Agreement to Stantec for a Water <br />and Sewer Cost of Service Study <br />July 3, 2018 <br />Page 2 <br />committee based on criteria as outlined in the RFP. Listed below are the responding firms and <br />their respective scores: <br />FIRM <br />Location Preliminary <br />Lechowicz + Tseng Municipal Consultants Oakland 60.3 <br />The top three scoring firms were invited to interview with staff and provide a presentation on their <br />firm, proposal, and approach for meeting the City's needs. At the conclusion of the presentations <br />and interviews, staff ranked the firms as follows: <br />Rank FIRM Location <br />1 Stantec Walnut Creek <br />2 Black & Veatch Kansas City <br />3 Raftelis Los Angeles <br />In accordance with the RFP, staff recommends awarding a contract to Stantec (Exhibit 1). Their <br />proposal and presentation demonstrated a high technical competency and experience performing <br />similar services.
