Attachment A— Municipal Code on Sale of Real Property <br />Sec. 2-706. - Sale of real property—Procedure. <br />After authorization by the council of the sale of a parcel of real property, a sale shall be <br />scheduled and conducted by the director of public works or by his designated deputy. All sales <br />shall be made to the highest bidder subject to final confirmation by the council. After such determination has been made as <br />next hereinabove provided.for the council may by direct negotiation, provide for the sale of the <br />real property covered thereUy, without compliance with the auction, public sale, or method of <br />payment requirements in this article provided for. <br />(Ord.
