PARTIES: The parties to this Memorandum of Understanding are College'' and Career <br />Preparatory Academy (`°CCP.4 "), an Orange County Department of Education affiliate <br />charter school, and the City of Santa Ana. <br />2. 'P[JRPOSR: The intent of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is to outline: the <br />Parties' services, responsibilities, coordination of services and space, and duration of <br />services: The objective of the partnership is to provide alternative secondary education <br />resources to clients ages 16 and above. <br />3. RESPONSIBILITIES: <br />A, City of Santa Ana shall perform the following <br />1) Provide job search assistance, job seeking skills workshops, resume writing skills <br />workshop, and interviewing skills workshop <br />2) Provide access to internet for the purposes ofjob search, access to telephones and <br />fax machine, assistance with unemployment insurance claim filing and labor market <br />information_ <br />3) Inform participants how to access available training and work program <br />opportunities, <br />4) Inform its staff of the resources offered by College and Career Preparatory <br />Academy, an Orange County Department of Education affiliate charter school, and <br />make referrals as appropriate, for clients who have not earned a high school diploma <br />or equivalent <br />5) Provide College and Career Preparatory Academy with it work station and access to <br />a conference room as needed, on a space -available basis. <br />6) Evaluate, and modify services with College and Career Preparatory Academy as <br />needed. <br />B. College and Career Preparatory Academy (CCPR) shall perform the following: <br />1) Provide education services to participants of the City of the Santa Agra who are <br />referred and do not have a high school diploma or equivalency. <br />2) Offer workshops at the City of Santa Ana including, but not limited to, <br />information on high school diplomas, (JED resources, and alternative secondary <br />education opportunities. <br />C. DURATION: This MOU shall start on July 1, 2018, and shall remain in effect for four <br />years. Any party may withdraw from this MOU by giving written notice of intent to <br />withdraw at least 30 calendar days in advance of the effective withdrawal date. If agreed <br />to by all parties, the tirnefrarnes for notice may be reduced or extended. <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
