Councilmember Solorio, directed staff to consider possible revenue <br />enhancement options. Opined research and outreach has been inadequate, <br />polling not shared with council, and need for better communication with council. <br />Further discussion ensued. <br />Councilmember Tinajero, opined need to vote on item and responsibility to place <br />item on ballot to allow community to choose what direction to take. Further <br />discussion ensued. <br />Councilmember Villegas, opined current reduced services to residents, possible <br />future cuts, and need to have residents make the decision. Further discussion <br />ensued. <br />Councilmember Benavides, directed staff to provide financial impact on three <br />quarter cent tax, to include a sunset provision, and to provide economic <br />development options. <br />The following spoke on the matter: <br />• Peter A.
