Opined need of guard rail to protect pedestrians. <br />• Paul Maag, addressed City Council to request an immediate moratorium on all zoning <br />change requests and general plan amendments allowing additional housing in Santa Ana. <br />• Dale Helving, expressed opposition to 2525 Main Street development. Informed City <br />Council of public awareness campaign. <br />• Michael O'Valle, President of Park Santiago Neighborhood Association, opined project will <br />cause a lot of traffic, creates a nuisance, and taking away of professional office space will <br />be detrimental to Santa Ana. <br />• Frank Lopez, expressed opposition to 2525 Main Street development. <br />• Genelle Johnson, opined 2525 Main Street development will cause traffic problems and <br />will severely negatively impact neighborhood. Urged City Council to oppose development. <br />• Irma Macias, thanked City Council for approving funds to allow additional park clean up <br />days. Opined need to add zoo positions. <br />• William "Billy" Leigh, urged City Council to consider the voice of the Santiago residents. <br />• Kelly Medina, expressed opposition to 2525 Main Street development. <br />• Stephen Gorgone, opined development will overload surrounding area and urged City <br />Council to make this a priority. <br />90A. CITY MANAGER'S COMMENTS <br />City Manager Godinez, informed City Council as to securing of $4 million for <br />automated water meter infrastructure. Opined funds will allow city to modernize <br />water metering and billing system. noted upcoming eight annual 4th of July <br />celebration at Centennial Park and Works Center relocation. <br />90B.
