Scope of Work <br />PHASE 1: PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING <br />Research and Field Review <br />A thorough search of the available records will be conducted to acquire relevant data to assist in the <br />design of the project. The information accumulated will Include as -built drawings, utility information, <br />and horizontal and vertical control data. <br />The Project Team will review the project in the field and take photographs of potential problem areas <br />or Items that need special attention. Particular emphasis will typically be given to identifying areas <br />where existing improvements are in a deteriorated condition, pose a significant design constraint or <br />could be impacted by the widening (utilities, walls, structures, driveways, etc.). <br />Utility Coordination <br />Information will be collected from all the utility companies. Coordination with the utilities will continue <br />throughout the design of the project. A copy of the utility file will be provided to the City.
