<br />Dr. Guha is a Principal Engineer with Ninyo & Moore with diverse professional experience in geotechnical
<br />engineering design, consulting, construction, and regulatory practice. Dr, Guha coordinates and conducts1
<br />geotechnical evaluations for commercial, industrial and public facilities, including airports, bridges,
<br />highways, railroads, levees, public and private buildings, various plants (e.g., water treatment, bio -refining,
<br />power), pipelines, reservoirs, retaining structures, and elevated, at -grade and below -grade tanks; provides
<br />guidance on various analytical and numerical procedures that are undertaken for a project including seismic
<br />hazard analyses (e.g., ground motion, liquefaction, dynamic settlement, lateral spread, ground subsidence,°
<br />landsliding,etc.), site-specific response spectra analyses, slope stability analyses, analyses of soil settlement,'t
<br />bearing capaeityand earth pressures, assessmentof adverse effects of collapsible soil and expansivesoil, and
<br />development of structural foundation, pavement sections and underground pipeline design criteria; provides
<br />geotechnical design parameters and recommendations for shallow and deep foundations, temporary and
<br />permanent retaining structures, slope stabilization techniques, mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls,

<br />tieback anchors, soil nails, in-situ ground remediation and earthwork; prepares and reviews geotechnical
<br />reports, proposals and transmittals; reviews laboratory test results, project plans and specifications; provides

<br />assurance/quality checks, and performs project administration and management.
