Authority. <br />FUP is authorized by section 8(x) of the United States Housing Act of 1937 (42 U.S.C. <br />1437(X)). The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Pub. L, 115-31, May 5, 2017) and the <br />Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018 (Pub. L., 115-141, March 23, 2018) provided a <br />combined total of $30 million for incremental voucher assistance through the FUP. <br /> <br /> <br />II. Award Information. <br />A. Available Funds. <br />$30,000,000 is available through this NOFA. <br /> <br />Additional funds may become available for award under this NOFA as a result of HUD's efforts <br />to recapture unused funds, use carryover funds, or because of the availability of additional <br />appropriated funds. Use of these funds is subject to statutory constraints. All awards are subject <br />to the applicable funding restrictions described in the General Section and to those contained in <br />this NOFA. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT 2 <br />3-20
