Early childhood education is also currently provided from 10am - 12pm. On <br />a weekly basis, meals are also provided to the greater community. Enrichment activities are offered on a weekly or <br />monthly basis. Mobile and vision health services are offered at the Santa Ana CRC as needed. During school <br />vacations, the CRC is open during the day every day from Monday through Friday to provide meals and enrichment <br />activities. <br />All Children's Resource Center services are provided on-site, in a comfortable setting. Most <br />services are provided in group settings, with enrichment activities provided in groups appropriate to grade level. <br />When appropriate, such as in mental health counseling and speech and language therapy, services are provided <br />one- on -one. All services are provided in-person, under the direction and care of dedicated staff members. <br />The Santa Ana Children's Resource Center serves the Willard neighborhood. All children served are <br />homeless or at -risk of homelessness, and 98% are Latino. When admitting students, the CRC also prioritizes the <br />vulnerability measured on a metric of family economic stability, the student's academic performance, history of <br />childhood trauma, and risk of developing emotional and behavioral disorders. All CRC children live in low-income <br />households. <br />Benchmarks: <br />The Children's Resource Center has the following outcomes for its children in the 2018-19 school year: <br />Improve the mental, emotional, and social health of children and youth experiencing trauma and <br />heightened levels of stress, through restorative justice practices, trauma -informed counseling, and self- regulation <br />skills training. <br />The CRC expects that by the end of the year, 90% of students will show improvement, or maintain <br />a satisfactory level of behavior, at school and/or on the program site. <br />Additionally, at least 40% of students will demonstrate a decreased risk for developing emotional <br />and behavioral disorders. Improve the academic performance (both in school attendance and measurable skills) <br />and foster self- confidence of children and youth, through the meeting of basic needs, afterschool tutoring, and <br />language- acquisition assistance. <br />The CRC expects that by the end of the year, at least 70% of students who experienced academic <br />deficits at enrollment will have made academic progress. Improve the kindergarten preparedness of participants in <br />the early childhood education day program. <br />The CRC expects that by the end of the year, at least 75% of participating children will have met all <br />of their developmental milestones.Stabilize CRC families, through counseling, parenting classes, referral to other <br />Illumination Foundation services, and connection to community and economic resources. The CRC will continue to <br />work the housing, healthcare, and workforce development programs to assist families in need and evaluate their <br />progress. <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
