Reappoint Members to <br />WDB Board for a 4 -Year Term <br />August 21, 2018 <br />Page 2 <br />Presently, there are four members whose terms expired May 2018 and are being recommended <br />for reappointment for a four-year term. Mr. Brent Beasley and Mr. Robert Ruiz each represent <br />labor/apprenticeship and Ms. Stacey Sanchez and Mr. Andy Wadhera represent the business <br />sector. All reappointing members are active and committed to the goals of the City of Santa Ana <br />and of the Workforce Development Board. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval assists the City in meeting Goal # 5 (Community Health, Livability, Engagement and <br />Sustainability), Objective #1 (Establish a comprehensive community engagement initiative to <br />expand access to information and create opportunities for stakeholders to play an active role in <br />discussing public policy and setting priorities). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />Steven A.
