The locations <br />served include City Hall and 27 remote City facilities including park and recreation centers, the <br />libraries, Council Chambers, Police Department and community centers. To ensure maximum <br />value, maintenance is bid out and purchased through Value Added Resellers (VARs). The <br />request for three-year maintenance and support provides a multi-year discount and allows the <br />necessary hardware, software, updates, and support required to continue; thus, ensuring the <br />successful operation of the wireless infrastructure and making it flexible enough to support future <br />needs as they arise. <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on July 16, 2018, on the City's online bid management <br />publication system.
