Into rwestgrp. c am <br />EDUCATION <br />Bachelors of science, Civil Engineering, <br />University of California, Irvine, 2017 <br />Yvonne Soto <br />Associate Engineer ) Traffic Support <br />Yvonne recently graduated with her degree in Civil Engineering from UCI and began <br />cultivating her practical skillset and municipal experience as an assistant engineer in the <br />City of Santa Ana's Public Works Department. <br />Yvonne has completed coursework In the areas of Operations & Control, Planning & <br />Forecasting, Soil Mechanics, Hydrology, Structural Steel Design, Transportation Systems, <br />Project Planning and Management, and she is proficient In using Microstation, AutoCAD, <br />Civil 3D, EPAnet, SWWM, TransCAD, Matlab, Synchro9, and Microsoft Office. <br />PROJECT SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE <br />Assistant Civil Engineer <br />2017-2018 City of Santa Ana <br />In this position, Yvonne designed channellzation and striping, curb markings, signage and <br />physically challenged parking spaces using Microstation and handled requests from <br />residents regarding safety concems In neighborhoods. She prepared work orders using <br />Department Traffic Order (DTO) database and Request for Service (RFS) databases to <br />address residential requests and designs. She also conducted field observations; analyzed <br />and ordered speed studies and traffic counts for warrant studies; attended and addressed <br />neighborhood concerns at neighborhood meetings; and attended Council Member <br />meetings pertaining to traffic concerns in the City. Yvonne also worked on the Caltrans <br />Encroachment Application Process to relocate loop detectors for a striping project and <br />worked with other departments on projects utilizing the permit issuance software (SAPIN). <br />Residential Permit Parking Aide <br />2017 City of Santa Ana <br />Yvonne handled resident's requests to establish permit parking restrictions in certain <br />neighborhoods, as well as prepared, processed, and mailed out correspondence related to <br />the permit parking program. She also designed and processed work orders for the <br />installation of traffic signs and issued residential parking permits at the public counter or <br />by mail. <br />25F-117 <br />Page 183 <br />
