APPROVE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE UNITED <br />STATES GEOLOGICAL SURVEY WESTERN ECOLOGICAL RESOURCE <br />CENTER TO COLLABORATE ON RESEARCH, EDUCATION, AND <br />OUTREACH PROGRAMS AT THE SANTA ANA ZOO {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. <br />2, 2E) — Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency <br />MOTION: Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute <br />a memorandum of understanding with the United States Geological Survey <br />Western Ecological Resource Center to collaborate on research, education <br />and outreach programs in the field of resource conservation and <br />environmental science at the Santa Ana Zoo for a five-year period from <br />October 22, 2018 through October 21, 2023, subject to non -substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney (AGMT. No. <br />2018-188). <br />25F. APPROVE ON-CALL AGREEMENTS TO NINYO & MOORE AND KMEA FOR <br />ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENT AND TO NINYO & MOORE AND <br />TERRACON FOR HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SURVEYS AND REPORTING <br />(NON -GENERAL FUND) {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 6, 1G) — Public Works <br />Agency <br />MOTION: <br />Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute four on- <br />call environmental service agreements with the firms listed below to <br />perform the activities listed for three-year terms beginning August 21, <br />2018, and expiring August 20, 2021, with provisions for two one-year <br />extensions exercisable by the City Manager and the City Attorney, for a <br />total not -to -exceed amount of $149,850 listed for each firm over the entire <br />life of the agreement, which includes an 11 percent contingency in the <br />amount of $14,850, subject to non -substantive changes approved by the <br />City Manager and the City Attorney: <br />Service / Firm Total Contract <br />Amount <br />Environmental Site Assessment <br />1.
