Monthly CIP Executive Report for August 2018 <br />September 4, 2018 <br />Page 2 <br />Bristol Street Improvements (Washinaton Avenue to 17th Street <br />The infrastructure improvements along the west side of Bristol Street have been substantially <br />completed, and access to Santa Ana College's entrance has been restored in time for start of the <br />fall semester. The next phase of the project includes construction of the center median islands, <br />additional traffic signal improvements, landscaping, and the final asphalt surface for the roadway. <br />The project is still on schedule and expected to be completed this fall. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />This item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #5 — Community Health, Livability, Engagement <br />& Sustainability, Objective #1 (establish a comprehensive community engagement initiative to <br />expand access to information and create opportunities for stakeholders to play an active role in <br />discussing public policy and setting priorities). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this item. <br />rJ <br />Fuad Swiss, PE, PLS <br />Executive Director <br />Public Works Agency <br />FSS/WEG <br />Exhibits: 1.
