Resolution No. 2018-xx <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />Public Safety Element: <br />xx.Goal 1 encourages the preservation of a safe and secure <br />environment for all Santa Ana residents and workers. <br />Section 2. In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />the recommended action is Categorical Exempt from CEQA per Class 6 (Information <br />Collection) Section 15306. This exemption consists of basic data collection, research, and <br />resource evaluation activities which do not result in a serious or major disturbance to an <br />environmental resource. These may be strictly for information gathering purposes, or as <br />part of a study leading to an action which a public agency has not yet approved, <br />adopted, or funded. <br />Section 3.
