STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />1.01 Understanding of Need <br />Project Understanding <br />In 2016, Dudek was hired by the City of Santa Ana to develop a comprehensive rehabilitation plan for <br />Centennial Park Lake and the park area surrounding the lake. The goal of the rehabilitation project <br />was to identify problems, needs, deficiencies with the lake, lake equipment, the lake park area, lake <br />Visitor behavior, and lake maintenance in order to develop a comprehensive remediation plan to <br />address each identified deficiency. A detailed outline of identified lake deficiencies separated into (7) <br />major lake management categories and the proposed design solution for each deficiency is provided <br />below. <br />TABLE 2. Inoperable air compressors <br />including 6 new air compressors and a complete <br />renovation of the main pump vault air compressor is <br />included in our lake renovation plan <br />c. No operating jets or fountains <br />The lake renovation plan includes a fountain jet with the <br />ability to spray a cascading jet of water up to 60 -ft in the <br />air and a recirculating stream water feature element to <br />provide additional aeration and oxygenation of the lake <br />_ <br />d. Water samples indicate DO at 6 mg/I <br />water <br />e.
