City of Santa Ana <br />Key Staff <br />PROJECT MANAGER <br />To best serve the City on this Project, we have <br />assigned Mr. Wayne Richardson, PE, LEED AP to <br />lead our technical team. Wayne has over 25 years <br />of project management experience on City projects <br />involving environmental planning, civil engineering, <br />water resources and active transportation. His <br />project management experience Includes leading <br />multi-dlscipline consultant teams, with the proven <br />ability to execute complex projects on schedule and <br />within budget. <br />Mr. Richardson organizes and leads the APWA <br />conference for Complete Streets and Technology <br />held in Southern California each year, so he is well <br />versed with active transportation projects, bikeways <br />and pedestrian infrastructure. As increased urban <br />development affects our environment, He has <br />evaluated and implemented solutions that lessen <br />the environmental impacts of projects or creates <br />environmental assets for the communities. Wayne <br />will be responsible for compliance with project <br />Intent, completeness of the final deliverables, and <br />achieving the City's stated goals and expectations <br />to your satisfaction. <br />Mr. Richardson will be the focal point for <br />communications between the City and members <br />of the project team to make sure the project needs <br />are clearly defined and understood. As Project <br />Manager, he will engage and direct the members <br />of the team and subconsultants for effective project <br />delivery and success. <br />One of the most important elements to project <br />success Is communication. Mr. Richardson <br />understands this and will keep the City abreast <br />of the project status, not only what has been <br />completed but what Is planned, what risks have <br />been Identified and any potential budget or <br />schedule variations. His communication excellence <br />results in the City getting clear, concise and <br />frequent communication, meaning no surprises <br />to the City. Mc Richardson's intention is to make <br />6 DESIGN SERVICES RFP NO.: 16.042 <br />the Tetra Tech Team operate transparently and <br />smoothly, as if an extension of the City's staff. <br />PRINCIPAL -IN -CHARGE <br />Mr. Mauricio Argente, RLA, QSD, QSP, ENV SP <br />also has more than 25 years of combined planning <br />and engineering experience in both the public <br />and private sectors. The City will gain from his <br />experience as a city planner, a landscape architect, <br />and project manager of teams of engineers and <br />scientists. Mr. Argente has been with Tetra Tech <br />for over 15 years, and possesses the unique <br />qualifications to Integrate engineering science with <br />equal attention to environmental and aesthetic <br />concerns. <br />Mr. Argente will provide strong leadership and <br />will make available the company's resources and <br />expertise to the Team for successful delivery on <br />time and within budget. <br />QA/QC <br />Mr. Jason Fussel, PE, PLS, LEED AP, QSD/P, <br />ENV SP has over 15 years of experience and has <br />a broad knowledge of civil engineering stemming <br />from his Involvement In capital improvement <br />projects across'Southern California. He is sought <br />after for both his value engineering and his quality <br />control capabilities. Mr. Fussel's strengths Include <br />precise grading and paving, stormwater end water <br />resources, and structures. He excels In the design <br />oversight of plans, specifications, and estimates <br />(PS&E) for public bid. His vast experience will allow <br />him to provide critical reviews for technical quality, <br />cost efficiency, and constructabllity. Mr. Fussel's <br />quality assurance and quality control will give <br />the City confidence that the Team will deliver the <br />90% PS&E with minimal plan check corrections or <br />rework, and ultimately provide quality construction <br />bid documents to obtain accurate bids with minimal <br />clarifications, addenda, or changes required. <br />25F-21 <br />
