Job Description: Data Entry Specialist <br />Introduction: The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for the data in put and reporting forth e Year <br />Round Emergency Shelter Program known as Bridges at Kraemer Place. The objective of this position is <br />to meet and manage our HMIS data and reporting requirements. This position requires a dedicated work <br />schedule, primarily based around a regular workweek. This position reports to the Program Manager. <br />Qualifications: Strong computer, typing and data processing skills. Ability to work effectively with a <br />diverse population; plan, organize and prioritize duties; clearly communicate information and <br />instructions verbally and in written form; maintain a positive, professional and safe environment while <br />on duty; and establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Possess a high level of <br />tolerance and understanding for individuals who are present forservices with urgent multiple case <br />management and health needs. This person must be detail -oriented and computer proficiency in <br />Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlookand Internet -based browsers is required. Dependability, responsibility, <br />and the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully are mandatory skills. Associate's Degree <br />preferred (but not required). <br />Program Data Entry and Reporting <br />• Ensure HMIS intake forms are completed by clients and data is entered into the HMIS <br />• HMIS data quality management <br />• Responsible for entering all Bed Nights, Case Notes and Services into data base on a daily basis <br />• Scan and file intake packets and other pertinent documents daily <br />• Follow up with staff as needed to ensure needed documents and updated forms are kept to the <br />agencystandard <br />• Assist Housing Navigators and Management team in pulling data as needed and in the <br />enrollment/exit of guests as necessary <br />• Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that are turned into high-ranking <br />County officials <br />• Meet data entry deadlines in a challenging and constantly changing atmosphere <br />Miscellaneous <br />■ Attend staff meetings <br />• Attend County CoC meetings as needed <br />• Attend training workshops as needed <br />• Perform ad hoc projects as appointed by Supervisor <br />23 <br />25C-35 <br />
