City of Santa Ana <br />Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program <br />Mitigation <br />Implementing <br />Measure No. <br />Mitigation Measure <br />Monitoring Party Party Mitigation Timing <br />MM -OZ 4.2-5 <br />The developer shall require by contract specifications that <br />Planning and Project Prior to. <br />construction equipment engines will be maintained in good <br />Building Agency applicant construction <br />- <br />condition and in proper tune per manufacturer's specification for <br />the duration of construction. Contract specifications shall be <br />included in the proposed project construction documents, which <br />shall be approved by the City of Santa Ana Planning and Building <br />Agency staff. <br />MM -OZ 4.2-6 <br />The developer shall require by contract specifications that <br />Planning and Project Prior to <br />construction -related equipment, including heavy-duty equipment, <br />Building Agency applicant construction <br />motor vehicles, and portable equipment, shall be turned off when <br />not in use for more than 5 minutes. Contract specifications shall be <br />included in the proposed project construction documents, which <br />shall be approved by the City of Santa Ana Planning and Building <br />Agency staff. <br />MM -OZ 4.2-7 <br />The developer shall require by contract specifications that <br />Planning and Project Prior to <br />construction operations rely on the electricity infrastructure <br />Building Agency applicant construction <br />surrounding the construction site rather than electrical generators <br />powered by internal combustion engines to the extent feasible. <br />Contract specifications shall be included in the proposed project <br />construction documents, which shall be approved by the City of <br />Santa Ana Planning and Building Agency staff. <br />MM -OZ 4.2-8 The developer shall require by contract specifications that Planning and Project Prior to <br />construction parking be configured to minimize traffic interference Building applicant construction <br />during the construction period and, therefore, reduce idling of Agency/Public <br />traffic. Contract specifications shall be included in the proposed Works <br />project construction documents, which shall be approved by the <br />City of Santa Ana Planning and Building Agency staff. <br />MM -OZ 4.2-9 The developer shall require by contract specifications that Planning and Project Prior to <br />temporary traffic controls are provided, such as a flag person, Building applicant construction <br />during all phases of construction to maintain smooth traffic flow.
