Agreement with SCAQMD for Local Partnership Program <br />October 2, 2018 <br />Page 2 <br />o 2 vehicles for Planning & Building staff <br />o 4 vehicles for City-wide Car Pool <br />• Purchase of nine Near -Zero CNG engines for upcoming heavy duty Water Department <br />vehicles replacement. <br />As outlined in the February 20, 2018 City Council action, the grant proposal was submitted and <br />subsequently reviewed and approved by the MSRC in July 2018. The agreement between <br />SCAQMD and the City has a duration of ninety-two months and its approval will help SCAQMD <br />achieve State -mandated reductions in smog forming pollutants throughout the Southern <br />California area.
