Agreement with SCAQMD for Local Partnership Program <br />October 2, 2018 <br />Page 2 <br />o 2 vehicles for Planning & Building staff <br />o 4 vehicles for City-wide Car Pool <br />• Purchase of nine Near -Zero CNG engines for upcoming heavy duty Water Department <br />vehicles replacement. <br />As outlined in the February 20, 2018 City Council action, the grant proposal was submitted and <br />subsequently reviewed and approved by the MSRC in July 2018. The agreement between <br />SCAQMD and the City has a duration of ninety-two months and its approval will help SCAQMD <br />achieve State -mandated reductions in smog forming pollutants throughout the Southern <br />California area. Approval of the Agreement is the final step in the grant award process by MSRC. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item assists the City's effort to meet Goal #6 Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #2, (address deferred maintenance on City buildings and equipment). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The appropriation adjustment will enhance the Air Quality Improvement revenue account (no. <br />03110002 52351) by $385,000 and appropriate same to expenditure account (no. 03110102 <br />66400) for FY 2018-19. <br />APPRO7UNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br />Sergio Vidal Utz <br />Acting Executive Director <br />Finance and Management Services Agency <br />CL/sv <br />Exhibit: 1.
