Appropriation Adjustment & Amendment to <br />Fiscal Year 2018/19 CIP <br />October 2, 2018 <br />Page 2 <br />PROJECT <br />PHASE <br />GRANT-$ <br />FY <br />Warner Avenue Improvements Phase <br />1: Main Street to Oak Street <br />Construction <br />$4,629,750 <br />18/19 <br />Warner Avenue Improvements <br />Phase 2: Oak Street to Standard <br />Right -of -Way <br />$7,494,000 <br />18/19 <br />Avenue <br />Warner Avenue Improvements <br />Phase 2: Standard Avenue to <br />Right -of -Way <br />$3,066,000 <br />18/19 <br />Grand Avenue <br />TOTAL GRANT FUNDING: $15,189,750 <br />Approving this Council Action will make these grant funds available for the continued progress of <br />the Warner Avenue Improvements project. <br />CDBG Projects <br />In the FY 2018/19 approved budget, $1,842,455 was budgeted for Community Development <br />Block Grant Projects (Account No. 13518783-66220). This budget included $921,228 for the <br />Residential Street Repair Program. However, the FY 2018/19 CIP only recognized $748,784 in <br />CDBG funding. Approval of this Council Action will amend the FY 2018/19 CIP to include the <br />remaining $172,444 in CDBG funds allocated for the Residential Street Repair Program. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #6 - Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #1 (Establish and Maintain a Community Investment Plan for All City <br />Assets), Strategy G (Develop and Implement the City's Capital Improvement Program in <br />Coordination with the Community Investment and Deferred Maintenance Plans). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Approval of the requested Appropriation Adjustment will recognize $15,189,750 in Measure M2 <br />Competitive ACE grant funds into the Measure M -Street Construction Fund revenue account (No. <br />03217002-52332) and appropriate the same into the Measure M2 Competitive Street <br />Construction Fund expenditure account (No. 03217663-66220). <br />20B-2 <br />
