PUBLIC WORKS AGENCY STATUS OF PROJECTS - MONTHLY <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) EXECUTIVE REPORT FOR <br />SEPTEMBER 2018 {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 5, 11 — Public Works Agency <br />The CIP Executive Summary Schedule is available on the City's website at <br />http://www.santa- <br />ana.org/pwa/documents/ExecutiveMonthlvCIPSeptember2018.pdf . <br />MOTION. Receive and file the Public Works Agency Status of Projects <br />- Monthly Capital Improvement Program Executive Report for <br />September 2018. <br />19D. PREFERENTIAL PERMIT PARKING IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS <br />IMPROVEMENTS {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 7, 5E) — Public Works Agency_, <br />Mayor Pro Tem Martinez, in support of item; requested staff presentation <br />on pilot program. <br />Fuad Sweiss, Executive Director of Public Works Agency, noted major <br />improvements have been made in parking permit process and reduction in <br />processing time. Staff working with Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to <br />obtain data, continued efforts to identified opportunities to provide additional <br />parking. Pilot Program to be presented by December of 2018. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Martinez, requested staff provide estimate as to when <br />program will be presented to City Council. Noted available data from <br />Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) that may assist <br />with the pilot study. <br />MOTION.
