• Staff to review AMCAL housing project and potential use of public dollars that <br />may have triggered prevailing wage requirements. <br />Councilmember Villegas: <br />• Supports study to consider bringing back our own Fire Department; opined that <br />our City's vote on the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) board is diluted; <br />need to bring back local and financial control. <br />Councilmember Benavides: <br />• Invited all to upcoming Art Walk event and community safety forum; <br />• Important to work with community to address community and social issues; <br />• Expressed concern as to Orange County Fire Authority agreement and <br />supportive of study to consider bringing back Fire Department; and <br />• Encouraged community to vote in November. <br />Mayor Pulido; <br />• Noted that the Board of Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) <br />approved $4 million dollars for the Orange County Street Car project. <br />ADJOURNED - 7:35 P.M. - The next meeting of the City Council is scheduled for <br />Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 5:00 for the Closed Session Meeting <br />immediately followed by the Regular Open Business Meeting at 5:45 <br />p.m. in the Council Chamber, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, <br />California. <br />Maria D.
