STAFF MEMBER COMMENTS <br /> <br />Executive Director Thai <br /> Provided update on resolution in opposition to the project proposed at 2525 N. Main <br />Street; clarified the roles and responsibilities of the Commission; indicated that a <br />resolution in opposition is outside the purview of the Commission as the project does <br />not have historic relevance; encouraged Commissioners to comment on the project as <br />private citizens to City Council or Planning Commission. Commission generally agreed <br />that the project will have a negative impact on adjacent neighborhood of Santiago Park <br />as it is historically sensitive. Discussion ensued regarding the process of designating <br />Santiago Park as a historic district.
