STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />LOS ANGELS COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF <br />PUBLIC WORKS <br />LOS ANGELES, CA <br />Owner: County of Los Angeles <br />Contact: Greg Johnson 1626.458.1741 <br />Project Status: 2011- Ongoing <br />RMA Group was contracted in 2011 for as -needed geotechnical, <br />materials testing, and inspection services contract. Services <br />provided to the County include geotechnical investigations for various county facilities. At the General William J. Fox Airfield, <br />RMA Group completed a pavement structural section investigation to determine if the existing pavement could support the <br />additional loads from landing, taxiing, and takeoffs of a Lockheed C-130. The investigation included taking cores to determine <br />in-place pavement structural section, soil samples, laboratory testing, and structural section calculations utilizing FARFIELD. <br />For the SR -126 interchange, RMA Group is currently providing Quality Assurance testing services. Responding as requested by the <br />County representative, RMA Group is completing compaction testing during the compaction of the earthwork and aggregate base. <br />During the production process for hot mix asphalt, our scope of work is to provide a field technician to perform in-place density <br />testing during compaction operations and plant testing including sieve analysis, asphalt content, maximum theoretical density, and <br />moisture content of mix. <br />ON - CALL CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND <br />SOILS TESTING SERVICES <br />NORWALK, CA <br />Owner: City of Norwalk <br />Contact: William Zimmerman 1562.929.5926 <br />Project Status: 2015 - Ongoing <br />RMA Group was chosen to provide on-call materials testing and <br />inspection services for the City of Norwalk to assist the City with <br />improving the infrastructure within the City. <br />RMA Group is providing construction materials and soils acceptance and independent assurance testing services for road rehabilitation <br />projects in the City of Norwalk. These rehabilitation projects include constructing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant <br />curb access ramps, pavement grinding, removal, and replacement of failed AC pavement, and placement of ARHM overlays. <br />The material testing laboratory services consist of concrete, masonry, aggregates, asphalt and asphalt plant inspection, soils, epoxies, <br />metal, steel reinforcement, welds, diamond bit coring of asphalt, concrete or masonry, environmental sampling and testing of soil <br />and water, including ground water sampling and testing in accordance with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards, road <br />rating and profilograph testing of streets, and other general laboratory material testing per the City's Project Specifications. <br />Page 24I CITY of SAN A ANA I g SANTA <br />BLIC WORKS GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES <br />25B-114 <br />RMA Group <br />EwryPmject Matterslw .mocomponies.com <br />
