Technology Committee (EDBIT); provided City Council with <br />recommendation and requested direction. <br />Councilmember Benavides echoed Mayor Pro Tem Martinez' comments <br />and motioned to enter into an Exclusive Negotiations Agreement with <br />Caribou. Motion by Benavides died for lack of second. <br />Councilmember Villegas motion to continue matter for 30 days, seconded <br />by Mayor Pulido. <br />Councilmember Sarmiento requested clarification with selection process <br />and the criteria used in determining the final outcome. Noted prior <br />agreement with St. Joseph exhausted time due to inability to acquire <br />necessary funding. <br />Executive Director of Community Development Agency, Steven Mendoza, <br />noted that all four proposals were reviewed and all interviewed, and ultimate <br />decision by Committee to select Caribou Industries. <br />Councilmember Sarmiento, requested that delays be avoided and <br />milestones instituted to move project forward.
